Hours, Admissions & Directions

Museum Hours

Wilton House Museum is currently open to the public for both reservation and walk-up guided tours, Wednesday-Sunday.

Guided Tours Available from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Wednesday – Saturday, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday. Tours begin on the hour. Please note that availability is subject to change. For the most up-to-date information, please visit Wilton House Museum Facebook or Instagram channels.

If you qualify for a free tour, contact eblake@wiltonhm.org to book your tour!

Masks are encouraged for all visitors to the Museum.

Please note that Wilton House Museum is accessible by stairs only.

Adult and Senior tickets are available by pre-reservation below. For combinations of ticket types, children’s tickets, or if you qualify for a free tour, please purchase your tickets upon arrival to the Museum. If you have questions or need assistance booking a tour, please contact Director of Visitor Services, Erica Blake at eblake@wiltonhm.org.

 

 

Closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and National holidays. Wilton is closed to the public annually for the month of January.

Audio Grounds Tour: Wilton House Museum is pleased to offer a free audio tour of our grounds, available for free with the download of the Uniguide App. 

Admission Fees

General: $10.00
Student/Senior/AAA: $8.00
Free: Teachers, Press, Members of The NSCDA, Military personnel and dependents*, and Children 6 years old and younger

Wilton House Museum is a proud member of Museums for All. Through Museums for All,  those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free admission for themselves and their dependents to Wilton House Museum simply by presenting their SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) card.

Photography Policy

Non-commercial and hobby photography are welcome on Wilton’s grounds and inside the historic house. Please contact Wilton House Museum for information about commercial photography.

Photographers may be at work documenting Museum activities. Your presence implies your consent to the Museum’s use of your likeness in educational and promotional materials.

Directions

From the North, take I-95 to 195. Take the Cary Street Exit. Turn right (West) onto Cary Street Road. South Wilton Road is on the left at the 5400 block of Cary Street Road. Wilton House is at the end of South Wilton Road.

From the South, take I-95 to 195 North. Follow 195 and take the Cary Street/Floyd Avenue Exit. Turn right onto Thompson Street. Remain on Thompson Street until reaching Cary Street; turn right onto Cary Street. South Wilton Road is on the left at the 5400 block of Cary Street Road. Wilton House is at the end of South Wilton Road.

From the West, take I-64 East. Merge onto 195 and follow to Cary Street Exit. Turn right (West) onto Cary Street Road. South Wilton Road is on the left at the 5400 block of Cary Street Road. Wilton House is at the end of South Wilton Road.

From the East, take I-64 West towards Richmond, merge onto 64 West/I-95 North. Continue to 195 South and follow to Cary Street Exit. Turn right (West) onto Cary Street Road. South Wilton Road is on the left at the 5400 block of Cary Street Road. Wilton House is at the end of South Wilton Road
