The International Refugee Committee in Richmond is committed to bringing refugee clients from harm to home. As a part of that commitment, they provide refugees with necessities – such as clothing and household items – they will need to start rebuilding their lives here. To do this, the IRC relies on donated items from community partners that are passed into the hands of their clients free of charge.

For the month of December, Wilton House Museum is partnering with IRC to help these families get the items they need. Any visitor to the museum who brings a hygiene, seasonal clothing, or infant item will receive a complimentary tour of the museum.  These items include: laundry detergent, shampoo, deodorant, coats, socks, shoes, infant clothing, diapers, and blankets.

For more information on The International Refugee Committee, visit www.rescue.org.
