Jammin’ on the James

August 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us this summer for free concerts on the grounds of Wilton.  Bring a picnic dinner and your favorite lawn chair for family-friendly music on our scenic terrace overlooking the James River.  Enjoy complimentary evening tours of Wilton before the concert as well as face-painting, games, and crafts for kids.

Goldrush is an indie pop outfit from Richmond, VA. The group is made up on songwriter and guitarist Prabir Mehta joined by the classical and orchestral musician combo of Matt and Treesa Gold. As a part classical and part rock and roll band this group has recorded albums, toured the nation, and even taught classes at music conservatories. The band’s sounds reflect their shared love of melodic pop music rooted in The Beatles, but also touches on Mehta’s alternative rock background and much classical influence from the Golds career in the orchestral world. From Carl Sagan to human evolution to songs about touring, the content reach for this band is as vast as are the inspirations that fuel the band.
